  • IT will increasingly be a key business enabler and, in many cases, an agent of competitive advantage, whether through efficiency improvements or the launch of new products or operating models—particularly in areas of critical importance today, such as health care and government retrenchment. How companies fare will be determined by many factors, not least the strength of their IT and how they use it to drive business change. IT capabilities and the IT organization must be optimized and firing on all cylinders.
