Tom Wurster

   

Tom Wurster is a senior partner and managing director and leads BCG’s San Francisco office. He is also the managing director of the West Coast. He is a core member of the Consumer and Organization practice areas.

Wurster is the coauthor of two articles published in Harvard Business Review, including the prize-winning "Strategy and the New Economics of Information." He is also coauthor of Blown to Bits, a book on how digital technologies change business strategy.

Before joining the firm, Wurster worked for Bank of America.

Wurster is a graduate of Cornell University, where he earned a BA in economics and mathematics with distinction. He received his MBA with honors from the University of Chicago and earned his PhD in economics from Yale University.
