George Stalk

   

George is a BCG Fellow, senior advisor, and one of the world’s foremost authorities on business strategy. He also serves as an adjunct professor of strategic management for the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

George has cowritten the critically acclaimed books Competing Against Time, Kaisha: The Japanese Corporation, and Hardball. He has been published extensively in numerous business publications, including the Harvard Business Review, where he has won the McKinsey Award for the best article. In 2008, he was inducted as a Fellow in the Strategic Management Society, joining BCG founder Bruce Henderson as the only professional consultants in the society.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanics from the University of Michigan, a master’s degree in aeronautics and astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
